Loss

Someone I really looked up to passed away today. A friend only a few years older than me, I looked up to them because they always showed kindness, strength and the ability to be at ease with the pace of life. Whatever it was at the moment. Life, cut short, is really hard to understand. What is the reason, why? But if you think about it, if their life made an impact on anyone than it was full and rich and seemed longer than the years placed on it. Loss always affects the living, as the ones who go are sometimes better off, in a better place, feeling better. When someone can stare down a rough situation while bursting with life, grace and a positive heart then they were always an angel. Only now we just can’t see them. She wouldn’t want us to be sad but I just can’t help it. Thanks for making me laugh, making me listen and rooting for me…I was rooting for you…and you will be severely missed.
